Information about sending video to the Quad Media Remote Studio for live packaging and broadcasting.
The typical use case is to add all packaging elements in the studio so a camera only feed is expected (no overlays, no commentary).
A multi-camera switched feed or a video feed containing some packaging (score, clock, etc.) is also acceptable.
The studio receives the signal and adds remote announcer commentary, overlays, etc.
Recommended for sending over a very reliable and high bandwidth internet connection. Requires a wired connection and hardware or software encoder (eg: OBS).
RTMP stream publish point specs will be provided by Benjamin.
The studio RTMP server will accept most modern RTMP standard video streams.
For locations with limited internet connectivity (low bandwidth and wifi only connections), this method allows for a variable bitrate and framerate live video feed to the studio.
This method connects through a computer's web browser and does not require additional software or an encoder.
Gameplay commentators connecting to the Remote Studio for live or pre-recorded play by play will connect via a web browser in a video call style environment.
