Applicable for both pre-recorded and live content.
The game is covered by an on-site camera which is streamed live to the Quad Media studio. In the studio we package the content and stream it out to the broadcast audience. Announcers may be in remote locations, at the game, or at the Quad studio.
Remote Studio coverage drastically reduces the costs and logistics involved with on site production while delivering a very similar experience. This approach also allows us to provide live coverage of many games per day happening in different locations.
Remote Studio does rely on internet (or cellular data) access at the venue, but it does not require travel & setup for the production and talent.
Remote Studio is compatible with existing on-site video production providers. Instead of sending the video stream directly to a publish point, the on site video vendor sends the stream to the Quad Studio for live packaging before it is redirected to the publication point.
